Halloween Craft – Pom-Pom Spiders

Halloween offers a fantastic opportunity to get creative with your little ones. Jen at Mama’s Den created a pom-pom spider craft that will surely keep your children entertained. Follow the simple steps below to create your own pom-pom spiders!

What you’ll need:

• Pom-Pom maker or cardboard as an alternative.

• Coloured yarn

• Scissors

• Pipe cleaners

• Wiggly eyes

Step 1

Firstly, select a pom-pom maker of your choice or you can use cardboard as an alternative.

Step 2

Wrap your coloured yarn around one side until completely full. Then repeat on the other side.

Step 3

Add 4 pipe cleaners into the middle of your yarn and close the pop pom maker around them.

Step 4

Then cut around the edge of your pom-pom to your liking.

Step 5

Next, cut a length of yarn and repeatedly knot around the centre until your pom-pom is secure.

Step 6

Then use the excess yarn to create a hanging loop.

Step 7

Afterwards, remove the pom-pom maker.

Step 8

Use a pair of scissors to shape your spider until you are happy with the shape of the body.

Step 9

Finally, bend the legs of your spider and add wobbly eyes in the middle.
