We are dedicated to our mission of seeing our ESG commitments help to make the world a better place for teachers, early years practitioners, educators and of course, the children. As we embark on a journey towards a greener and more eco-conscious world, it’s always useful to consider the impact of our choices, even when it comes to the toys we select for our little ones.
So, here at Hope we’ve developed a variety of sustainable toy alternatives to plastic products in order to play our part in reducing plastic pollution.
We’ve selected some of our favourite plastic-free products that we’ve launched this year that are long-lasting and reduce the need for excessive consumption. Keep reading for some sustainable play inspiration!
Silicone and Wooden Mushrooms
Our Silicone and Wooden Mushrooms are made from sustainably sourced beech wood and silicone. Not only are they perfect for sorting and counting activities but also fantasy small world play! Also, the tops are interchangeable, which adds to a variety of combinations.

Wooden Construction Boulders
These Wooden Construction Boulders are a lovely example of eco-friendly fun for early years. This set of 12 pentagonal boulders come in assorted sizes and beautifully designed for construction-based play.
Each boulder is also made from ethically and sustainably sourced beechwood for long-lasting and adaptable play and learning.
