Mothers Day Card Craft

With Mother’s Day coming up, we’ve got a lovely craft for your children to enjoy. This DIY card craft from The Creative Strawberries will allow little hands to show appreciation for the incredible mother figures in their lives through creativity.

Let’s make this Mother’s Day one to remember!

What you’ll need:

• Coloured card
• Coloured paper
• Lollipop sticks
• Glue
• Scissors
• Pen
• Pencil
• Wooden hearts or cut hearts from card

Step 1

Fold a piece of coloured card in half.

Step 2

Cut a plant pot from a piece of brown card folded in half to create a doubled-sided pot.

Step 3

Paint the top of the plant pot with a colour of your choice.

Step 4

Paint a small wooden heart or use card if you don’t have one and then stick it to the plant pot.

Step 5

Draw 6 larger hearts with colours of your choice and cut these out.

Step 6

Fold the hearts in half and stick two together to create a 3D effect.

Step 7

Stick the hearts onto the lollipop sticks.

Step 8

Using a green piece of paper, cut out some leaves for the flowers.

Step 9

Stick the leaves and the flowers onto the card and stick the plant pot on top.

Step 10

Finally, write your message inside.
