Diwali Toran Garland
Torans are a big part of Hindu festivals such as Diwali as these decorations are the first thing that welcomes guests into the home.
Our Toran garland activity is a great way to get your children involved in Diwali celebrations and only requires a few materials. Follow our step-by-step below to make a Toran garland.
What you’ll need:
- Coloured card
- Scissors
- Hole puncher
- Decorations of your choice
Step 1
Cut out a pentagon in card.
Step 2
Cut out a square and triangle in card colour of choice.
Step 3
Decorate the card.
Step 4
Whole punch the sides.
Step 5
Add string to then create the garland.
