Craft Cup Dragon
Get your little ones celebrating the Lunar New Year and the Year of the Dragon with our craft cup dragon craft!
Follow the steps below and embrace the good luck and prosperity that your dragon will bring you.
What you’ll need:
- Craft cups
- Paint
- Coloured card
- Paint brush
- Glue
- Scissors
- Red or orange tissue paper
- Red or orange pipe cleaners
- Wiggly eyes
Step 1
Paint the craft cups in 2 alternative colours of choice.
Step 2
Once dry, cut the craft cups in half.
Step 3
Stick the craft cups to a black piece of card in an ‘S’ shape.
Step 4
For the head cut a rectangle in one of the craft cups, then stick this to the top of the ‘S’.
Step 5
Cut out tissue paper flames and cut a pipe cleaner into 1/3.
Step 6
Add 2 of the pipe cleaners as horns and the eyes and tissue paper.
