Coronation Crowns Craft
The coronation of King Charles III will take place on the 6th May at Westminster Abbey.
Get your little ones excited about this special occasion with this coronation crown craft by 4plusmama.
Follow the steps below to re-create this fun craft activity with your children.
What you’ll need:
- Recyclable cardboard
- Gems
- Biodegradable glitter
- PVA glue
- Ribbon
- Clear tape or sticky back plastic
Step 1
Cut your crown shape out of cardboard removing a piece in the middle.
Step 2
Spread glue onto the crown, sprinkle with glitter and allow to dry.
Step 3
Apply the sticky back plastic or tape to the back so the sticky side is on the front.
Step 4
Decorate with gems and some glitter it you’d like some extra sparkle!
Step 5
Stick some more gems onto the top of your crown.
Step 6
Tie some ribbon to each side of the crown.
And there you have it. A crown fit for a king!
