Handprint Fish Puppet Craft
It’s time to embrace the vibrant spirit of summer with engaging and creative craft activities for the little ones. We’re starting off with a handprint fish puppet which will add lots of fun to under the sea and ocean activity play!
So let’s gather the art supplies and get crafting for summer!
What you’ll need:
- Lolly sticks
- Coloured card/paper
- Wiggly eyes
- Glue
- Scissors
- Optional – sequins and glitter
Step 1
Trace out your little one’s hand on a piece of coloured card and cut out the handprint shape with a pair of scissors.
Step 2
Next, cut out the handprint shape with a pair of scissors.
Step 3
Then, using a piece of red card cut out a heart shape to use as the fish lips. Then stick these down at the end of the palm of the handprint.
Step 4
Next, stick on some wiggly eyes and feel free to let your child decorate with additional sequins or glitter.
Step 4
Afterwards, glue lolly stick to the back of the fish handprint. Once dry, your fish puppets are ready to use for lots of ocean-inspired play!
