Scrape Art Flowers
With Spring on the way, now is the perfect time to start trying out some fun and easy crafts with your children!
Scrape art is such a simple and effective technique with only a few materials needed. The lovely Creative Mama Che made some scrape art flowers which would complement any Spring occasion.
Follow the steps below to make scrape art flowers with your little ones!
What you’ll need:
- Cardboard
- Pastel paint
- Scissors
- Glue
- Green paint
- Marker pen
Step 1
Cover a white piece of card with small dots of pastel coloured paint. Then leave for a few minutes.
Step 2
Using a small piece of cardboard scrape the paint downwards until you have created the perfect blend of the colours.
Step 3
Whilst the paint dries, draw and cut out small flower shapes to use as templates.
Step 4
Once the paint has dried, trace around the flower templates to make lots of flowers and then cut them out.
Step 5
On a separate piece of cardboard or card draw a vase on the bottom section and green stems.
Step 6
Use a glue stick to stick the flowers down on the stems.
And there you have it! Your own vase of pretty, scrape art flowers!
